Happy 2009, everybody!
Don't you just love a God that grants us new days, new weeks, new months, new seasons and new years to start over, renew our minds, begin again? It's a wonderful gift. Indeed, "his mercies begin afresh each morning."
One question for you:
What character-related trait would you like God to begin developing in you this brand new morning of this brand new year?
Just a one-word answer will do.

Mine is discipline too... discipline of health/exercise/sleep, discipline of patience, discipline of work/life balance... it all hinges on discipline, doesn't it?!?
Mine is ORDER. (This is somewhat ironic because this year, I will formally join the Presbyterian church.)
To me, order and discipline go somewhat hand-in-hand. I am good with the discipline - but if my surroundings are not ordered, I fall apart. I need to institute more order into my life, my home, my work...
Can I get a combo of humbleness and grace? I need the humbleness and I need to give more grace!
