Hi girls!
I'm Sarah, married to Marius, and living in the metro Atlanta area. We've been married almost 9 years, in ministry for almost 11.

Marius is the Senior Pastor of two churches. He's passionate about coaching and mentoring, community projects, international mission trips and small groups, plus authentic bible teaching and counseling! He's full of life and keeps my sometimes-workaholic-self balanced with spontaneity and enthusiasm. (You can't tell, can you?)

I absolutely LOVE to travel, it's a bug I caught as a missionary kid living in Russia. Since then, trips to 30 countries, short-term missions, graduate study abroad and 4 summers in youth mission programs have given me lots of opportunity to learn about other cultures. (Not to mention marrying into a different culture as well!)

I did an undergraduate degree in English Writing, and a master's in International Development and Non-profit Administration. For the past 6 years (except for 18 months of maternity leave), I've directed projects and resource development for the international Center for Secular & Postmodern Studies, and as a producer/director/manager of a non-profit film company. We develop resources and training materials for non-traditional evangelism and small group ministries in today's postmodern society. Before babies, this demanded lots of international travel.

When our first child (Tristan) made his debut in 2009, I decided to quit the travel and spend time at home seeking out how to be a godly mother. I started work again in 2011, and also do photography on the side. Now that baby Sophíe has joined the family, things are rarely dull and never boring.

As a minister's wife, I have a personal passion for mentoring and connecting with women of all ages. I think that Paul was really onto something when he told Timothy to have women mentor each other into the arts of home-making, husband-loving, and godly identity.

I was blessed to have a wise and godly mother among my mentors - but not every young pastor's wife has the luxury of a great Christian mom. And most of us don't always have great options for getting some godly feminine wisdom (or a listening ear), when we need it.

CLUTCH is one of the ways I stay connected with the outside world, and seek to serve other women. I think it's a great place to mentor each other in the journey toward fulfilling service as the wives of ministers around the world.
